Removing The Front ABS Sensor On A Fiat/Abarth 500



The ABS sensor is not handed so it will fit either side.

Prise off the hub cover with a flat head screwdriver.

Remove the wheel bolts and wheel.

Spray a penetrating lubricant to the sensor and retaining bolt and let it sit for five minutes to soak in. Undo the 5mm allen bolt, and work the ABS sensor lose.

Clean out the hole which the sensor sits in.

Unclip the wire in the four places shown.

Unscrew enough Phillips screws of the front arch liner...

....to enable you to lift the liner to access behind it.

border='1'

Unclip the sensor from it's bracket and unplug the connector.
