Take care when removing the undertray/engine guard as it is quite robust and surprisingly heavy (weighs 7.6kg).

![]() | Unscrew the oil filler cap. |

![]() | Undo the x2 10mm engine cover bolts. |

![]() | Unclip the turbo air intake pipe. |
|
![]() | Undo the 10mm bolt to the bracket holding the air intake pipe to the air filter box and remove the engine cover. |

![]() | If you're facing the engine the oil filter housing is at the back of the engine on the right side. |
|
![]() | Undo the 24mm oil filter housing cap and remove. |
|
![]() | Undo the x8 10mm bolts to the undertray/engine guard. |
|
![]() | The sump plug is 17mm. |
|
![]() | Drain the engine oil into a suitable container. |
|
![]() | Replace the sump plug and use a new sump plug washer. |
|
![]() | Remove the old oil filter from the housing cap... |
|
![]() | ...and replace the old seal. |
|
![]() | Insert the new oil filter. When fitting the filter back into the housing on the engine, the lug on the bottom of the oil filter needs to align. |
|
![]() | Replace the rest of the parts you have removed, pour in the recommended amount of oil then check the oil level and top up if necessary. |
