You can replace the air filter in situ but if you prefer to remove the whole air filtration box you just need to disconnect the two breather pipes. This 'How to' is based on the 500.

 | Undo the x2 10mm bolts to the air filtration box. |

 | Pull the filtration box lose from the top mounting lug. |
|
 | Pull out the air intake sleeve. |
|
 | Hold up the the air filtration box and undo the x6 7mm screws to the air filter housing. |
|
 | Lift the top off of the air filter housing and remove the air filter. |
